Description
Pilates teachers and practitioners:
This course is awarded 8 continuing education credits according to the guidelines set forth by the Pilates Method Alliance®.
It includes all notes required to complete the questionnaires to obtain 8 continuing education hours.
Included exercise prescriptions and practitioner notes:
- Beginner exercises for the neck
- Intermediate exercises for the neck
- Beginner exercises for the upper back
- Intermediate exercises for upper back extension (equipment)
- Beginner exercises for the scapula
- Beginner exercise for the shoulder (weights)
- Beginner exercises for the shoulder (elastic band)
- Intermediate exercises for the shoulder (standing weights)
- Intermediate exercises for the shoulder (prone weights)
- Intermediate exercises for the abdominals
- Intermediate exercises for the abdominals (bolster)
Exercise prescriptions and Practitioner notes are provided for CEC use only. For a licence to distribute, please register to become an Evidence for ExerciseTM Registered Provider.
Instructions:
Once you have downloaded and studied your exercise prescriptions and practitioner notes please ensure you are logged in before accessing your questionnaires.
You must complete the questionnaires in the following order to obtain your 8 CEC points:
- Beginner and intermediate exercises for the neck
- Beginner and intermediate exercises for the upper back
- Beginner and intermediate exercises for the shoulder
- Intermediate exercises for the abdominals
When you have completed the first questionnaire you will receive immediate confirmation. You can then move to the next questionnaires, after which you will receive a certificate of completion.
Up to 8 CECs may be earned through PMA approved Distance Learning during a 2 year term.
